iPhone 16 Arrangement Spilled Pictures Uncover Show Sizes, Camera Alignment

As per the spill, the iPhone 16 Professional seems to include a 6.3-inch display | Update:29/04/24 |

The design and display sizes of the iPhone 16 series may undergo significant changes. A fresh leak suggests that the non-Pro variants, the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Plus, may have a new camera alignment, while the Pro models, the iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max, may have larger displays. If these alterations are confirmed, Apple’s three-year tradition of releasing smartphones with a unified design and display will come to an end. Notably, capacitive buttons are also expected to be added to the iPhone 16 series this year.

On X (previously known as Twitter), tipster Sonny Dickson posted a picture demonstrating the updated layout and screen sizes. The pictures suggest that the iPhone 16 Pro will have a 6.3-inch screen instead of the 6.1-inch screen.

If the increased display size is real, some users may be pleased, but those who prefer smaller phones may not be pleased with the move. However, the tipster’s disclosures do not simply concern the display size. There has also been an adjustment made to the non-Pro models’ camera alignment.

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus may use a vertically oriented camera module, like the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12, in place of the diagonally aligned module found in the iPhone 13, iPhone 14, and iPhone 15. Still, there’s another modification that sets it apart from all previous iPhone models. It appears that the LED flash is external to the module.

It is believed that the vertically aligned camera alignment is intended to bring spatial video recording capabilities to non-Pro iPhone 16 devices. While nothing is known about Apple’s next-generation iPhone, certain details have emerged online. According to one source, the iPhone 16 series could feature capacitive buttons to replace the conventional power button and volume rockers. These were initially expected to appear with the iPhone 15 series but were later apparently shelved. The Action button, which is presently only available on the Pro models, is likely to be present on all iPhone 16 models.
